The handmade pottery of Texas-based artist Susan Rodriguez is well made, functional and, to put it plainly, really fun.

The Ceramica Botanica shop includes plates, platters, trays, vases, and even a cute sponge-holder. The organic shapes and patterns on the pottery look coolly retro and happily modern. Rodriguez's skills and enjoyment of her craft really show through in her attention to detail — the backs of each piece includes a second pattern in another color.
