CES 2008: More Impressions

Above are the musicians that serenaded us at the Belkin booth, where we saw the laptop hideaway caddy for use around the home that Kelly posted about yesterday.

Mini as well as super-mini projectors were popping up everywhere, and iPod everything was also everywhere we looked. The iPod dock that we predict will be a huge bust? Check out the pick after the jump and let us know if you agree.

Above is a compact projector that's about 6 inches by 8 inches by 3 inches--perfect for an apartment. We'll do what we can to track down more information on it because it wasn't in a "brand name" booth but either a manufacturer or distributor's booth.

On the right is a shot of one of the many super-small mini projectors that were one of the hot technologies at the show. The set-up at the booth of this product doesn't give you any indication of the power of these little video projectors: some project images as big as 40 inches!

Below is the iPod Dock & Light combo. There was a small but full booth of these at the show, and we couldn't believe the price point of $100-$200 each. They were all PB Teen-esque, and with all of the better and/or more prominent options for quality iPod docks in that price range, we predict these will truly flop.
