Our car lease is about to expire in a couple of months and we're considering going without a car for a bit while we sort out the possibility of going hybrid, high efficiency diesel or just economy. That means we might seriously consider upgrading/downgrading (depending on your perspective) to getting around on a bicycle. And of all places, we found the bike we most want at the CES trade show: the Areaware Moof...

Areaware Moof's aluminum frame houses two solar powered lamps (why not pedal powered too?), complimenting a minimal retromodern frame that siphoned off a notable amount of CES attendees to oggle the brushed metal frame. A rear coaster brake design, 28" alloy rims with fenders, leather seat and grips, with handsome whitewall tires completes the Moof's aesthetic resume. And at $500, very reasonable!
