Design: Chaise Nina
Materials: Plywood and Caixeta
Designer: Daniela Buzzini and Maria Guzmán
"From the beginning we tried to make something visually attractive and extremely comfortable to call the attention of the consumers and their desire. We made the chaise to make part of the good moments of their days. When they want to relax, to read a book or take a nap. We hope you enjoy it."

Very nice!
love it
I am pretty sure that's the intention but it looks like whoever is sitting there is being eaten by an allegator.
Not a fan of the lines -- seems like it misses the streamlined look it might have been trying for, somehow.
I also think it looks like anyone using it will be eaten - which may be cool for some people, but it would make it hard to relax...
Great job!!! I love it!!!
On the one hand, it does sort of look like a chair, but on the other, it reminds me of that device you rock beneath your foot to stretch out your calf...
I just want to know the story behind the photo of the designers.
@lorelski
The third person in it was not involved in the design, and for some reason the designers could just take a picture of just themselves?
Are (some of) those pictures of the real thing, or are they pictures of the model they are holding in their hand? I think for things like this they should have at least 1 picture of someone using it. There could be merit to the alligator thing.
*couldn't just
That's an awesome chair!!! :-)
hideous.
The pattern of the slats is really beautiful---the curves, the repeating lines, the overall shape. It looks as if it would be comfortable once you're in it.
But it also looks as if the ends of the slats would be hard and pokey when getting in and out of the lounge. And the base just looks....well, heavy and clunky. The slatted part is light and graceful looking but then it is attached to this big, black blob. It just doesn't work, in my opinion.
It would be nice to see someone sitting in it. I can't get a sense of scale from the photos. I'm fairly tall, and I wonder if the way the slats taper at the legs would make it hard for me to keep my legs on the chair.
the portrait photo is hilarious-like a bad breakup. that gets three stars alone.
