The chalkboard table for kids was a hit from the moment Offi introduced it years ago. It has spawned a sea of copycats and look-a-likes. But this version is our favorite.
The table is a mid-century modern (perhaps, inspired) coffee table, beautiful on its own and a great height for young ones. A simple coat of chalkboard paint turns a modern table to a one-of-a-kind center piece in a child-friendly room. Years ago I bought a similar looking table at our local flea market. It's not in perfect condition and I've thought about refinishing it for years but now that I have children, the thought of a thick coat of dark chalkboard paint is an easy and stylish alternative to refinishing.
We spotted this table on the website of Mark Tuckey, a design and furniture workshop in Australia. Visit their website to see more.

Where can I buy one?
Cute- BUT something no one ever addresses w/ all of this chalkboard business is how messy chalk dust can be. That rug would be full of chalk dust in no time flat at my house. Do they make dustless chalk now?
Oh yes they do make dustless chalk; what a great invention...
