Chalkboard walls really caught on in our homes. So what about chalkboard gift tags during this gift-giving season? One great thing about the idea: they're 100% reusable.
A few we've spotted and liked:
• 1 plain and simple by Olive Rue on Etsy
• 2 chalk cloth versions by April at Oilcloth Addict
• 3 another chalkboard cloth tag with a how-to at Little Birdie Secrets
• 4 a chic design at simplesongdesigns on Etsy
• 5 These framed mini chalkboards used to be available from Pottery Barn, but no longer. We love them, though, so had to share. Have you seen anything similar available elsewhere?

Nomade Express Slee...
I made something similar myself! Instead of chalkboard paint I used black paper, silver sharpie and twine. I used it for a drink label, but could totally be used as a gift tag!!!

GREAT POST!!! I LOVE THIS!!!
Enough with the chalkboard paint already.
heartoflight.etsy.com also has them....4 for $18. They're quite cute in that you can thread the ribbon through the tag.
Pottery Barn kids still has the chalkboard tags - slightly larger, still as charming.
Art School Girl, an independent printing company in chicago, that makes cards and other paper goods from vintage children's books and wrapping papers makes chalkboard tags using discarded laminate samples.
I sometimes think AT won't be satisfied until all surfaces are coverd in chalkboard paint! Cracks me up. That said, I did just buy some for my daughter's art table...
