Here in Australia we’re quickly moving into Summer and for our friends in the Northern Hemisphere, you’ll be heading towards Winter. More and more we’re waking up all hot and bothered in our Winter bedding, so it’s time to head for the linen closet. For us, a change of season means a change in bedding– do you change your sleeping arrangements to suit the season?
During chilly, rainy Winter nights we like to be snug as a bug in our bed. This means an electric blanket to warm up the bed before we get in it, sheets [complete with hospital corners], a down doona/duvet and our treasured mohair throw on top.
Now that we’re heading into Summer, it’s off with the electric blanket, doona/duvet and mohair throw and on with the summer blanket.
Do you make a change in bedding for the seasons? If so, what changes do you make?
