What to do with all your kids' art is an age-old question. We've featured some ideas before, like these clipboard displays or these magnet frames. We've just come across another simple, attractive and functional idea on Less Than Perfect Life of Bliss.
Julie managed to get 7 different frames at a huge discount for her display wall. She painted them all the same color and then hung them without glass. She then nailed binder clips to the wall inside the frames, allowing her to hang art and change it whenever needed.
To see more details of her tutorial, check out Less Than Perfect Life of Bliss.

Michael's stores are a great place to pick up large frames for cheap.
When a frame comes in for a custom framing job and it is the wrong size it is slightly damaged, they will reorder it and sell the 'reject' one for $8 (at least in my area stores)
They don't come with glass or backing and are usually non-standard sizes, so they're perfect for projects like this AND it keeps them out of the landfill!
love it! i have just the right (large) space for this and it's a great way to make a great temporary display on a wall that will eventually come down... not spending much to do it is even better!
genius idea!
