How many of us have fumbled around with our cell phone chargers trying to figure out which way is up (users of all USB devices as well as memory cards for sure are constantly cursing this). It becomes even harder when you're trying to plug in your phone by touch or when it's night time or dark in the room. Here's a very simple and cheap way to make sure you plug-in correctly, even when you can't see...
All of my chargers have tiny graphics printed on the front side, which are useless when you can't see then in the dark. Add in that I wear contacts/glasses and I find myself futzing around every night trying to figure out which direction the charger plugs into my phone. I usually have to turn the phone on and use it as a flashlight to examine which direction is which.
Simply affix small felt pads to the front side of your charger. Now when you grab your charger you can instantly recognize which side is up without having to look at the charger, just by feeling the texture. Alternatively you can also use glow in the dark stickers to see in the total dark, but I prefer the feel of the felt pad. I find it's rarely completely dark as well and generally know where my charger cable is located.
A quick and cheap way to find your charger and get your phone charging in a jiff.
