This PC workstation is minimal and compact, while still oozing with style, thanks to the Steelcase AirTouch desk, that becomes a standing desk with a touch, and the floating monitor. Charles is a self-confessed audiophile, and while not all of his gear is installed, what he has already got is impressive.
is from Shanghai, China, but he's currently working in IT in New York City. Charles has chronic back problems, which is one of the reasons he needed a versatile workstation that allowed him to change positions quickly, without too much fuss. That's also why he keeps a Steelcase Amia chair around. This is why he likes the AirTouch. It doesn't take long to change from a normal desk to a standing desk.
Other nice touches include a Dash task lamp from Steelcase. He recently changed his keyboard to a Logitech Illuminated one, which has some backlighting that is perfect for long hours spent on the computer. His PC desktop is paired up with a HP server, which functions as a backup solution.
Charles is an audiophile, and he's got some nice gear in his office. From a preamplifier to a Logitech Transporter, he's ready to listen to his music while he works away. Charles also mentioned that his speakers are currently en route from Finland. Once they arrive, his stereo will be ready to entertain.
