This is very cool — Purl has introduced a collection of handpainted needlepoint canvases based on the work of Charley Harper. From Purl's blog: "We think that needlepoint canvases are an ideal display of Charley Harper's work since the bold designs and wonderful colors lend themselves to needlepoint's graphic quality." — I completely agree...
The collection ranges in price and size — the smaller (and lower-priced) patterns are currently sold out online but Purl claims to have more in the SoHo shop and even more designs on the way for online customers.
For more information on the collection and all the needlepoint details check out the Purl Bee Blog.

Awesome! If you're into these needlepoint canvases, you might appreciate the work of Richard D. Gegner, a Cincinnati-area crafter who has executed many, many of Charley Harper's needlepoint canvases, and has also displayed them locally:

It's astounding to see a group of these!
Would love to see completed ones sold on Etsy - depending on price and quality, I might buy one.
How cool. Would love this on some floor cushions or pillows.
This might be worth learning how to needlepoint.
I just ordered some Charley Harper cross stitch patterns on this website.

Needlepoint is very easy to learn, but oh my gosh, it takes a lot of time to do a piece. Very therapudic though.
