My goal for this nursery was to be original, colorful & artistic. It was inspired by Minnie Driver's nursery colors.
Some of the decorations used were purchased when I was in college that I never threw out because I knew they would also work for a modern nursery. I painted the artwork, which was inspired by a decal graphic I found online. The stripes were added to designate areas for the family photos and the changing station. They also give baby something to look at while being fed or changed.
My husband is an avid video game nerd, which would explain his childhood Sonic and Tales dolls, as well as the Super Mario hat. The mobile was also his as an infant. It was really easy to put this all together, after I chose the colors and graphic elements.
Thanks Windi!

White Enamel Four-P...
What a fun room - LOVE the artwork and colors!
If I was that lucky baby, I would want that fantastic whimsical bubble picture suspended over my crib. Gorgeous job.
Love it...I really like that you painted the artwork yourself. I'm about to decorate my son's nursery in the new home and couldn't find artwork I liked. Guess I'll just have to paint it myself. :)
It's becoming so rare it seems to see a nursery posted on here that a family can actually USE! This one is great. Thank you! I saw this and went wait...they have a changing pad...with supplies nearby! And a trash can for diapers! And a hamper! Things like that that normal humans have in their nurseries and use daily but are mysteriously missing and replaced with modern art sculptures or knick knacks or weird stuff in most nurseries shown. Plus, great color palette and a fun room. Great job, parents!
I love this room! It's full of energy. I love that painting! Do you ever sell what you paint?
Really fabulous job!
A-DOR-A-BLE!
I want the balloon art, without qualifications!
The cylinder wall storage thing is also cool.
I love that painting so very much
I was wondering which parent was the nerd, with the Sonic and Tails, haha. Love the colors.
This is beyond adorable. Capital job!!
Both completely adorable and totally usable... way to go !!!
I love, love, love this room! The artwork is so fun and so are the stripes!
Love the artwork! Well done!
A totally vibrant and fun room for a toddler! Love the colors on the walls, can you give us the paint codes?
On which website did you find the inspiration for your artwork?
