Beauty and fashion blogger Charmaine Manansala sent us photos of her newly appointed home office, the first room she decorated after moving into a new home. Tell us about your desk/home office: Welcome to my office and beauty room! This is where I make my YouTube videos and do all my online work. Since this is where I spend majority of my time, I really wanted to create a space that shows my personality: glamorous, chic, fun, random, and just super girly.

It has been a little over 4 months since we moved into our new home and this room was actually the first to be completely done. But then again, design is never “finished.”

Favorite details?: I wanted it to be my “own space” where I can feel serene and inspired. I really wanted this room to show my personality – my favorite colors are white, gold and pink; I also don’t really like to display so much stuff, for that can just be so chaotic and can look like “clutter,” so you’ll see that everything is “put away.”

Details from Charmaine's home office:

  • Pink Sony VAIO 2012 E Series Laptop
  • DIY mousepad
  • Gold polka dot decals from Urban walls
  • Faux flowers from Walmart
  • Faux fur rug is from IKEA.
  • Vase from Goodwill (I used a gold leaf pen to add the details on it)
  • Book stand holding my Blackberry Playbook is from Walmart – spray painted it gold
  • Dresser is from Target
  • Ring holder was a gift from my papabear, pens/pencils holder is from Michaels

Charmaine even made a video touring the details of her home office.

Thanks for sharing, Charmaine!
