Because the apartment is rented, the only physical change the designers made was to cover the wall behind the bed with Benjamin Moore’s Down Pour Blue. The decorative touches include a Curtis Jere sculpture and Madeline Weinrib rug. Another quick fix includes switching out the standard-issue blinds with shades or drapes. It's the layering of color and texture in the room that softens the look of new construction and adds a more interesting character to the space.
