Here’s an awesome mod that will turn your iPhone’s camera into a digital microscope! The mod is quick and easy, and can be done for under $10. The results just may surprise you.

Crabfu Artworks put this mod together and once I found out about it, I knew I had to try it for myself. All you need is this 45x microscope ($5 on DealExtreme), an iPhone case (such as DefaultCase, which is $4 shipped), and superglue.

Simply glue the microscope to the case, snap your iPhone in, and you’re good to go. You've now got yourself a pocket-sized digital microscope! The results are pretty incredible. Check out some action shots I took, below.
