The Economist Intelligence Unit released their yearly “The Worldwide Cost of Living” survey this month, and Singapore topped the list. Using New York as a baseline, the survey tracks the prices of goods and services, such as food, transport, utilities, alcohol, and private schools, but not real estate and income tax. The least expensive city this year is Mumbai.
