Are we still liking the chevron trend? It certainly caught on like wildfire in the design world. Children's spaces are no exception, but we tend to see chevron patterns in softer shades mixed in with white.
Such a bold pattern seemed to require a little bit of toning down when it came to color — but no more. Check out this bright and bold chevron patterned nursery wall. This ain't your usual color palette. We're talking red, pink, bright blue, lime green, and yellow here, all in a big chevron pattern on one wall. It's a really nice counterpoint to all of the softer chevron walls we've been seeing. Shaw's Original Fir...
please. no more chevron. For the love of god, no more chevron.
So glad I didn't click on this first thing in the morning.
That's a lot of look.
I just think it's too much for a room that is supposed to promote sleep. But, for a playroom it'd be awesome. And, if chevron still floats your boat, then by all means, chevron it up.
I still love the chevrons although I prefer them a bit more "squished". But the peptobismol is total turn off.
I love these springlike colors together for a little girl's room, BUT I think all those sharp points create a threatening feeling, not appropriate for a young child. So much bold color all over is a bit overwhelming as well. It would be nice to use these colors together in a less strident way.
Cute, I like it for me BUT we do a lot of kids rooms and honestly as the person pointed out above all the colours aren't great to promote sleep.....ever wondered why most manufacturers make cots in 'wood colour' or white? Because they don't sleep if over stimulated by a colourful environment. If you love Chevron why not do it in two tone white and beige - soft and soothing....makes me feel sleepy right now
Y'all DO realize that if you paint this in YOUR room, you can use any colors YOU want, right?
I'd like to meet the person who does this to any room without going insane—we could barely get the tape straight on ONE stripe around my son's room. THAT chevron pattern? I'd lose my effing mind...
I wonder if this could cause migraines?
If my parents had painted my room to look like this when I was a kid, I would have been speechless with joy. Seriously, it would have felt like the best thing that ever happened to me. (Even better with aqua instead of the coral, but still ...)
I don't think I'll ever get tired of chevrons, either.
I love all the color and the sweet pillow/dolls and mixed patterns. I think it's cheery. I think the white furniture and neutral carpet make it livable. My kids would dig it.
I used to like Chevron but, now it's just redundant. Blah.
Love it, too bold for me, but still LOVE it!
