Chicago Cares is a non-profit organization that coordinates volunteer programs. Every year they host a Serve-a-Thon that becomes the largest day of community service in the city. Basic Info:
• Date/Time: Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 8:00 - 5:30 p.m.
• Where: Check-in is at 8:00 am at the southeast corner of Balbo & Columbus Drives.
• Volunteers are bused to their school locations.
• Projects include painting, cleaning, and planting.
• If you can't volunteer, but you want to make a donation, you can sponsor a volunteer.

• A $30 registration donation is required to cover the cost of participation.
• The registration deadline is Monday, June 9.
