Chicago City Walks from Chronicle

Get outside this summer using Chronicle's guide to Chicago City Walks ($14.95). The deck of 50 cards gives you guided tours of Chicago streets and what to watch for on your walks.

City Walks covers well-worn terrain like the Mag Mile, as well as lesser-known treks like a walk through "Polish Downtown," the neighborhood that houses Pulaski Park. We try to foot it everywhere during the short summer months, and this deck seems like a great way to mix up our weekend walks.

For architecture nuts, the AIA Guide to Chicago ($30) is also a great resource for walking tours.
