Ork Posters reinterprets the look of the city. Chicago designer Jenny Beorkrem's type treatment represents neighborhoods in size, shape and scale. Chicago is available in Spicy Red (above) and Brooklyn is in Classic B&W or Brooklyn Blue (below)...

Printed with soy inks on recycled paper, 24x34, $25.
Manhattan, San Francisco and Boston are coming soon.

Shaw's Original Fir...
I LOVE these, but neither black or blue BK would quite work in my house. I just emailed the etsy seller, who promptly replied that they will probably be printing a new color in about a month. So if you love the design but not the color you should inquire.
Also put in my vote on the newest Chicago color run, as I'm absolutely smitten with the piece but can't work with the shade.
They sold out of Chicago while it was in my cart! You jerks.
Ooooh, she should do LA too. Though it might be rather huge, hehe.
stonelake, you can still order via the website, with Paypal or Google Checkout.
I was able to eventually figure that out.
So you are not jerks! Especially freneticfloetry.
Jenny the designer here. Thanks Apartment Therapy!!
Yes, the posters can be ordered through my site, orkposters.com!
And p.s. it helps me immensely with order fulfillment if you order that way.
Thanks!
Sure Jenny!
I added the direct link to ork posters to the post.
Jenny at Ork - BEEEEOOOOTIFUL!
I just purchased. Thanks!
nice job jen, this is a proud moment for me. i'll be ordering them for xmas gifts! and yes, do more cities!
Gorgeous! I just picked one up. Any ideas for where to find a cheap (but decent looking) poster frame in the 24" x 34" size?
Saw this on Mightygoods earlier in the day and bought it in red, and now I'm coming across it here. Lovely!
a DC version would be awesome! :) *hint hint*
lu2,
Ikea offers a frame measuring 27.5" x 39.25" (RIBBA line) for $25. I haven't framed this particular poster, but with the right sized matte board, this will work. Otherwise you can buy the exact size lengths of frame edges that you want and build your own frame (although you'd probably have to get glass cut for it too). I'm not sure how the cost for that would run, but the build-your-own pieces are usually available at craft stores and many sites online.
Great posters! Kudos!
frickin sweet! bought and paid for in seconds flat. i love. i love. - brooklyn :)
i always use framesbymail.com for custom framing. they ship plexi instead of glass, but i prefer that because it's lighter, easier to pack, and when my hooks undoubtably fall out of the wall the glass doesn't shatter.
btw, i ordered the chicago poster. love it!
