Originally built in the 1970's, this most recent renovation by gh3 Architects was completed in 2007. According to the post at Design42Day, the new design opened up the main level to its current loft-like open space. Our favorite design details? The warmth of the dark brown furniture against all that black and white and those amazing double-height drapes.

i saw this house in metropolis in last year. its so gorgeous.... apparently the style is called "brutalism" but it looks nice to me
