Art and Interiors: Chicago House Tours (Part I)

We decided to take a look at the artwork in some of our best house tours, but once we got going we found so many ideas we realized we'd have to split them up into a few posts. Today we're looking at large-scale artwork that anchors a room. One of our all-time favorites is the photograph hanging over Dana's sectional couch. We love the humor of the piece, the way it's framed with white-on-white, and the scale. Click below for more artwork and inspiration:

LOVE the first room. That photograph is so great. It's funny, I don't think I would have looked twice at the couch by itself, but it's fantastic and perfect with that photo over it.
