More reader's art! Fabian wrote us and sent in some great photos: "I try to find simplicity in everything. I love clean lines and organic shapes. Every piece of furniture and every item can make a statement. I love art not only to stand out but also work in harmony with the rest of the pieces in my place."
"My favorite artwork is the triptych cherries. I found them in a small art town in Mexico. It was the first piece that I saw on my excursion and bought it on the spot. I loved it! I love the shapes, texture, color and depth. The uniqueness of the painting and its elements would lend itself beautifully in my home!"
"The Picasso-inspired piece was purchased by a local artist. He took a paper bag and created the female figure. He bought the frame in a thrift store and put the artwork together in no time. I love the simplicity of how he brought the elements together along with the color schemes which flow nicely."
(Thanks, Fabian!)
Fabian,
You need your own show on HGTV. Your place is fabulous!!!

Tres chic. I love it!
This is a "happening" pad! Very groovey.
Really nice!
I like the contrast of the walls and baseboards.
What is the wall color??
This is pretty nice. It was a good job done. Nice art work
You failed to mention that I was your Interior Designer!!!
Just kidding.
Smashing Darling!!! Smashing.

Absolutely fabulous!
Great Place Fabian! Congratulations
WOW! I love it and I am very proud of you. You had a vision and you gave it life, Beautiful!
I love the cherries too, how perfect for a dining area. I'm jealous of your bubble lamp collection. And where did you get that great grey chair - B&B Italia?
I love the chairs - the swag chairs and the pale blue gray lounge chair. Who are they by and where did you get them? They both look familiar but I can't place them right now.
Waoo this is what I call exquisite Art taste!!!
Im so pround of have my feet place in that magaz. palace!!
Those cherries remind me a Dali art work and I dig the division of it very eclectic dream like....
The color is a little bland. It's OK.
Beautiful works, although they are hung a bit to high. Move 'em down a bit, you'll notice an awesome difference- think eye level sweetie, eye level. Hanging things too high on the wall is a common affliction, I thought it was my mother's Appalachian upbringing, but I found my partner's Central American mother does the same thing, as well as a friend from the mid-west... who knew?!?
When are you going to invite your co-workers over for a party??? Looks fabulous!
I love the cherries..oops their not real...this is nice to bad I have not been invited over...
real purdy,yo...y'all should checkout my place on westside dumpy rentals.com
I like your style. When are you inviting me over?
Interesting how the concentration was on the cherries the very few items you showed on this page. I have visited and slept in your apt. I can honestly say that there are so many beautiful and influential pieces around the apt. - not to mention your gorgeous and very comfortable bed. You have always had an indulging taste. Your taste in fabrics, colors and pieces never disappoints me.
peace out sweet boy
What I can see of your place looks fabulous! I'd like to see more.
Wow! I am impressed but not surprised. Great place.
The place looks stunning...absolutely fabulous taste! Would love to see more! Love the subtle contrast between the walls and the base boards! I also love the monochromatic color scheme between the chair, wall and painting in the lavender room. GREAT JOB!
Fabian,
As always..."you have an eye for and developing beauty!!
