Cincinnati designer Maya Drozdz of VisuaLingual clued us in to her "locally-inspired home accessories, which celebrate [and sometimes gently poke fun at] Cincinnati and its various quirks." I used to live in Cincinnati so the Please? print does bring back memories of that local language quirk. I'd love to see a companion piece that says Sorry? because that's another local lanugage quirk I've encountered to mean Excuse me?

Heather, I know it doesn't make any sense; that's why it's so funny [at least to a transplant like myself]. When you hear it in a store, you think the clerk is criticizing you for not having said "please." Here is an article from an old issue of CityBeat that explains local lingo. So weird...

I love these tiles especially the Vine Street ones. I first saw them in Mica on Vine in Over the Rhine. If you are able you should defiantly check it out.
I miss the Natti, It always exciting to see it show up in the things I read.
Did you know it's already spring there. My friend said she already saw flowers on her trees.
I might be home sick.
