Modern Paint by Number Kits

111606paint.jpgWe haven't done a paint-by-numbers masterpiece in years, but did notice the resurrection of them a few years ago. But if animals and wildlife scenes are a bit too much or too ironically hip for your walls, we found this great kit with modern designs. Spotted on Cribcandy, and sold at the Tate Modern online (running approx. $47...that's a pricey little kit compared to what we used to buy) the Modern Paint by Numbers Kit would be a great gift, or something to buy yourself for a rainy day.

Anyone have other interesting paint-by-number suggestions that are a bit out of the ordinary?

There is a CD program called Paint by Numbers 2005. It allows you to scan or use photos from a data card and turns it into a customized paint by numbers project. Sounds SO cool. Great project for the pending crappy winter months. Priced it out cheapest for $15.99 at http://www.jerrysartarama.com/

Awh! It looks like the Tate Shop doesn't sell that item anymore ... the link doesn't point to that product. (I don't really mind the reposting of old threads if I didn't notice it the first time, but really, guys; check the links before you repost!)

If you look closely- that was a repost of a post from 11/16/07, which is THE FUTURE!

I applaud this effort to repost posts which have not yet been posted.
