Moo On-Demand Mini-Stickers & Mini-Cards

moohead61908.jpgWe are crazy in love with Moo, a London-based online printery. Along with usual cards, Moo's crush-worthy genius lies in mini-sticker books and mini-cards that you can make and make and make, all in a single set.

Their tagline reads We Like to Print - and you will, too, once you start seeing the possibilities.

stickerbook61908.jpgOne book of mini-stickers can include up to 90 individual designs. You can even select a book cover shade. Only $9.99?!

You get 100 mini-cards to a box that’s well-packaged in its own right.
Each can include up to 6 lines of text. All just $19.99.

Customize lite by curating a set of your faves from the pre-designed images.

Once your addiction is complete, they have their own accessories and open-source apps to make the making easier.

Check the Flickr pool for more ideas - but beware. The pool and site are NSFW, at least if you want to make your next meeting.

How we’d use them:

  • Party invites, favors, mementos or thank yous

  • Moving or birth announcements

  • Gift sets or special editions around a theme

  • Sheer joy

What would you do?

I use mine as business cards. Print random photos on the front, put my name, phone number and website on the back.

They're a big hit every time I pull one out.

The cards are gorgeous and garner many compliments.

Their one defect, in my view: It's impossible to write on them. The coating doesn't seem to allow ink or graphite to take hold.

Still, I love those mini-cards!

I just printed some postcards for marketing using images of my artwork from my flickr acct. It was easy. The one issue I had was getting my full website address to show up on the back. It kept cutting it off. I'm not sure if this is just a glitch online or if it would be cut off in the final printing so I ended up just splitting it into two lines to be sure. I wish you could change the font size for the text. I do like that you can use a different image for each card. In the past I had been ordering 100 of a single image from a commercial printing company which limits my ability in using them for marketing.

I think I need some moo stickers, perhaps some cards too... I've considered using them as business cards but I'm not sure if the size is too small. They would make great leave-behinds after visiting with a client. Bookmarks perhaps

I got my first set of Moo Cards last year, and have had so much fun with them!!! Each time I do an order, I do 100 different images, and then let my friends pick the one they like (setting aside my own preferences, which isn't always easy).
