Prints: Places I Have Never Been

iowaside81808.jpgCan't get away this month? That didn't stop designer Jennifer Hill from creating homages to 25 of her own future destinations. Along with meccas like Tuscany and Tahiti are some less-traveled, well-designed spots pretty close to home.

Traverse City, Michigan, see how she did you proud.

Each design in the collection includes some would-be reminisced local charm, like getting a pop in Prairie City or imaginary iceberg diving in Kemi, Finland. Other locales include Loire Valley, Austin, Sun Valley, Portland, Marrakech, Zimbabwe and Tequila.

I have two of her works. I love them! Just beware that they come in conventional sizes and you will need to get it framed. (it won't fit in any store bought frame).

I've had her desktop calendars (each month is a different location) for the past two years. I love looking at her beautiful designs when I'm at work each day - they add such a unique look to my desk.

Could someone explain the size comment? 11x14 and 11x17 seem like standard sizes, but JuliaL said these prints don't fit into standard frames.

I've had her wall calendars the last two years and absolutely love them. They really brighten up the old cubicle.

the print size is 11 x 17 but the paper size is about 13 x 19, leaving a white border around the edge
