Recap: The Guerilla Furniture & Art Truck Show on Fulton Market

Oh, how we wish we could be everywhere at the same time. The Guerilla Furniture and Art Truck Show on Fulton Market last Tuesday (as part of the Neo Con events lineup) was one of those events we'd heard about from its debut last year, but had to miss yet again. Thanks to design guerillas Marilyn and Peter Frank of F2 Glass Designs, though, we're catching a glimpse here at the second annual happening.

Morlen Sinoway and his wife Susan did a fantastic job organizing everything, and we are really grateful to them for supporting emerging artists in this city.

I could only take these pics nearby our truck because we had to watch over our own, so I didn't get all the shots/people I should have. There was really stunning work here, especially Nevin Peters who was next to us and Jason Wade who was around the corner on Aberdeen. The art galleries were open late too--Kasia Kay Art Projects had fantastic photos and painting on display (if you get a chance to stop in, check out the paintings by Brian Yates--amazing attention to detail; and her photography by Sheila and Nick Pye).

Thanks for posting these pictures--I missed the event this year, but it looks great! After seeing your blog for the first time, it looks like something I'll have to keep tabs on.
