The Suburban Art Exposition Space in Oak Park, IL

071709suburban.jpg"Suburban" (the good, the bad, and the ugly) means many things to many people. In this case, the word "suburban" belongs to an art space created by Michelle Grabner and Brad Killam. The couple converted this small, abandoned cinder block building into a gallery space for a worldwide list of artists. Coming from New Zealand and Europe and many places in between, you'll find modern art and installations that some might think would defy the suburbs. At times, work also reaches all the way into Grabner and Killam’s nearby home...an idea we love:
