A little midwinter beach daydreaming in the form of a silkscreen print by Todd St. John and Gary Benzel. The two artists began collaborating as Green Lady in the early nineties in California. Since then, their work has split up the duo geographically, but they continue to produce pieces together.

To me, this looks (not to put too fine a point on it) silly. The essential beauty of a wave, in my humble opinion, is the blissful marriage of water and physics, and the horizontal element in this print, in my continuing to be humble opinion, pointlessly contradicts that.
