Zip Tape by Benoit Lemoine

0918_zip1.jpg

Designer Benoit Lemoine created this tape as an experiment for use in the urban outdoors. It's printed with a zipper pattern and makes for quite a surreal visual when applied in some contexts. We can think of some quirky uses for it around the house, too...

Benoit Lemoine created the tape as an installation of sorts, so it's not available at retail. But if it were, it could be used at home: on doors or the edge of a curtain, along the bottom of a window sash, between row houses, or on cupboard doors. It's a fun motif that symbolizes openings (or closings) on a grand scale.

It could but it shouldn't. The novelty: it wears off!
