apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Our Press: Apartment Therapy and the Chicago Sun-Times

2008-05-08-arthur.jpgHere's what the Sun Times had to say about Apartment Therapy today: "What used to be considered an irrelevant hobby has become a network of media powerhouses in recent years. Bloggers are writing about everything from Barack Obama to the best place to get a hot dog -- and people are paying attention more than ever before.

When it comes to home decor, there is no shortage of "design experts" claiming to have the best blog on the block, and sometimes it's difficult to sort through the muck. But one site has been on top of its game since 2004: Apartment Therapy."...

That's the lead-in to a q&a interview I did with Jennifer Sabella recently on working for AT, Chicago and the current news from the site - here is a link to the whole article if you'd like to check it out.

And, if you're just joining us after reading the Sun Times piece...Welcome to AT!

i really appreciated your insight into what sets Chicago design apart from other cities. i live in Brooklyn but i'm from Philly. my favorite AT house tours are usually the ones from Chicago. it just seems that Chicago folks have a sense of home that resonantes more with my own than the New York sensibility. i love the part about midwestern friendliness and work ethic!
