Boo Hook / Mirror

2006-09-05-boo.jpg Good for little kids. This simple 4" hook with a mirrored surface is genius and can be used for coats or towels.

It's very Montessori (and just plain nice) to give small children an accessible, height appropriate spot to hang up their things. They will be happy to be independent and take care of this small chore for themselves.

An added bonus is the mirror effect. Mirrors are hung at adult height and often children only get to see their reflection when they are up on a step stool for hand washing. It's nice for them to have a spot like this in their own room (or the entryway or bathroom) to "check themselves out" whenever they wish.

At grownup height: would work for a last minute lipstick/hair check spot by the front door...

Perfect!! This was just the kind of post I was hoping for during the nursery/children theme month. Thoughtfully written and it can apply to pretty much anyone, whether you have children or not. This is a cute little hook with a multitude of purposes. Good job, Janel!!
