While researching bathroom storage yesterday, we came across a very helpful article from Better Homes & Gardens with 26(!) ideas for finding new space in your smallest room...

A few of our favorite ideas from the article:

• A partial wall with built-in storage to screen the toilet
• A pull-out shelf to store bath products
• A storage tray for items you want to keep on view
• An organizer with adjustable shelves to keep supplies on hand
• Cutaway towel cubbies built into the wall
• Shower niches built in between wall studs
• Rollout mobile storage units that fit beneath the sink

For all 26 ideas, click here.

I feel like this could be condensed quite a bit. Basically, what I get from this as suggestions are try using shelves, using baskets, building cubby holes in between studs and use storage solutions that go right to the ceiling. Oh, and leave the storage open if you want to show off your stuff, or cover it with a door if you want to hide it.

I think that it would be better if BH&G had grouped the similar examples instead of stretching it out. But hey, that could just be me. *shrugs*

I wish I had a bathroom big enough to use most of these ideas.
