• 1 Tyke and Jon use an IKEA Baren shelf to hold their stuff.
• 2 Meg and Ross installed a lucite shelf from the Container Store over their toilet.
• 3 Maxwell provides a helpful how-to for mounting a glass shelf with hardware in tile.
• 4 In an office bathroom, IKEA's Lillhomen glass shelf keeps supplies handy.
• 5 Dante hung a pair of shelves high over the toilet.

I recently moved to an apt with no medicine cabinet and a pedestal sink. I think I am going to install a med. cabinet as there is a large space on the wall where one can go. While the glass shelves are nice for displaying decorative objects, I find that I do not want to display several daily use items like prescription meds, deodorant, toothbrush, etc.

Another IKEA one, the Molger shelves. They're only about 5 bucks each and only 4 inches deep, perfect for toiletries, but are 23 inches long, so they still have plenty of storage space! We're picking up a couple for our narrow bath when we're done painting.

I like that glass shelving above the toilet; I will definitely be on the lookout for something like that. I am in dire need of some extra cabinet space in my bathroom since the windowsill can only hold so much (and the medicine cabinet is t.i.n.y.)
