We've blogged about Normal Room before, taking looks at both bathrooms and living rooms from around the world. Today we take a peek inside the most personal room in the house, the bedroom. We pulled 15 examples of sleeping spaces from around the world and we have to say that color seems to be "in" along with fairly simple bedding and unfussy beds in general...enjoy the world tour!

Oh dear. Well I guess the title is "Normal Room", which is apparently synonymous with "Mind-Numbingly Boring Room".

I LOVE these rooms, Ok they need more art but the beds are great, so simple and clean. I wish we see more of this kind of thing.

#2 is definitely my favorite, I would eliminate some of the things but the door and window are the best!!
the Chinese bedroom looks very Western which surprised me.

I wish MY bedroom looked as good as some of these. I wouldn't want to actually live in some of the overdesigned rooms I've seen on this and other design sites.

That Spanish bedroom looks so sad... I have a small, normal Spanish bedroom which I share with my boyfriend that doesn't look that sad... http://www.wetakeiteasy.com/photos/

We got most things off ikea, low budget, renters, first place together, seven months living here and still no art on the wall (it's behind the sofa, waiting for someone to take pity on it) doesn't that make us normal too?
