Beds of the St. Paul Hotel

During travel month, we often look to hotels for a little home design inspiration. And the interiors of the St. Paul Hotel in downtown Montreal are definitely something to which we aspire in our own surroundings. At once material and ethereal, these bedrooms are just plain dreamy...

Gauzy sheers and heavier drapes cover the walls and ceilings and act as space dividers. And those giant modern shutters are awesome with their finger joints and slotted pulls.

We also really liked this reading lamp and night stand. They're so crisp and clean, in nice materials.

Anyone have any suggestions for how to tastefully mount the sheer fabric to the wall and ceiling?

This post just made me change all of my bedding to all-white. What lovely rooms.
