The first is my hands down favorite.

The one with the ladder is very intriguing. I would have never thought to use that. Of course if you need a place for a glass of water it's a no-go.

These are all very pretty, but most of them do not include the water glass, tissues, reading material. I would also note that another thing that is nice for the guest is some empty space to put their own stuff - glasses, watch, earrings.... The flowers are pretty, but the blank spot is essential. Even if the rest of my house is a disaster, I try to keep my bedside table looking pretty. I figure, it's the first and last thing I see each day!

I love the sheets in the first picture! Where are these from? (the white with blue graphic trim)

I actually own the fabric in the first one! That just gave a fantastic idea of what to do with it!

Oh my! I love that lamp with the cat, bunny, and pig holding it up.

Love all these! But....The only thing wrong with picture frames or flowers is that when its pitch black in the middle of the night and I reach for my glass of water I would most likely knock over everything!

The ladder appears to be more about trying to make a "Design Statement" than any degree of practicality...
...There's plenty of space for a decent-sized table next to that bed
