Lovely, but none of that is minimalism. There's "excess" ornamentation everywhere -- moldings, ornamental ceiling beams, etc.

Those ceiling beams are probably original and structural--not "ornamental" or decorative. I agree with Lisa on the other points though. I love that first room!

Looks nice, That said, I don't think I'd ever stay in a hotel called hospes (hospice). I'd be too worried about not checking out...
