apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

NBC's Chuck At The Viceroy

102208-chuck1.jpg After watching Monday's episode of Chuck last night (Thank You DVR), we fell in love with Agent Walker's apartment. The whole scene was full of eye candy; from the sweaty girl boxing amid a room clad with mirrored wallpaper to the Roman plaques that hang over the bathtub. Click through the jump to see a few more shots of what we later found to be the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica.

We would probably be showing a little too much of our nerd if we expressed our true love for the hit NBC show Chuck. So we will try to keep our thoughts short and sweet so you don't judge us too much. Chuck is a superfantastic spy show with hip characters that are as witty as they are entertaining. So it wasn't any surprise when we saw one of the main characters living in a totally "swank pad." (That's the hip lingo the kids are using these days right?)
Our friends over at NotCot beat us to the presentation of this great set. Apparently they share our love of the show! They have a full set of pictures for you to see if you missed it. Check them out for more on Agent Walker's hotel room (which is in theory room # 832).

stop it. this show is perfect. and the ordinary side of chuck's life is where the unexpected brilliance always happens. half the time you know when bryce larkin is gonna pop-in or who's a triple agent or whatever. but the thunderdome competition for assistant manager? no one saw that comin'.

what i don't get about sarah's pad is that is so far removed from her cover. it makes no sense that wienerschitzel/yofro counter girl lives there. not to mention the room is very cold and sarah is a much warmer personality. i like chuck's house but have to wonder what it would be like if you took any of the three inhabitants out of the mix, esp. chuck living in his own place.

I have to say that of all the CHUCK environments, the one I'd most like to live in is the frozen yogurt shop.

I love Chuck...it's just so funny. The characters are hysterical. This weeks party at Buy More and the broken fish...I just KNEW that fish was going to bite it. lol

I love that show! And the apartments _and_ people pictured, of course. I guess I'm a bit of a nerd too, no surprises there...

Chuck is scrumptious. My nerd fantasy would be to have him AND Mulder as my boyfriends.

Monica, I'm right there with you -- perfect combo ;o)

I call Chuck my "tv boyfriend" -- my husband has claimed Sarah as his "tv girlfriend".

lady j i totally agree. and the cage, always proves for a good scene! but nobody has mentioned the music! two (maybe three) weeks ago when they used the flight of the concords song - genius.

oh the music is fantastic. everything about the show is topnotch. even the absurdity of devin's annoying "captain awesome" personality. he seems so airheaded but he's a doctor... you can't hate awesome.
