Although many people prefer the calming nature of cool colors in the bedroom, we've always been drawn to warmer tones for this space. We're not talking bright red or orange (that would probably be a little too much fire for the sleeping area), but we do gravitate towards pink and yellow undertones, or warm beige and ivory with natural wood tones...

These are great!

Beautiful rooms....but keep in mind that computers & tv's next to the bed create a stimulus package that interrupts restful REM sleep. "Wired=Tired".

Thanks- these are great inspiration for my bedroom. The warmer colors really are best for rooms that have little to no light no matter the time of day.
My bedding is the color of the first room on the second row.
And I agree with fishgirl- electronics have no place near a bed. I don't even have a plugged in alarm clock- I use a Now and Zen Singing bowl alarm. I keep the only electronics in my apartment faaar away from my bedroom.

I wish I had known about this natural wood thing before I bought all my furniture in black. Any way to still keep it warm without being all dark and gloomy?

every time i see these pale and/or mostly white/ivory rooms, i think to myself - ooooh, i want THAT!
then i go home to my red/orange/coral/rust house and feel so comfy that i can't imagine anything else!
my 9 by 11 foot bedroom faces east and i've had to put dark curtains over the heavy blinds in order to block morning sun (and the incredibly bright security lights of my neighbour across the street). it's the antithesis of these rooms, but it suits me - for now.

Love the pink room. Looking for soft elegant pale pink bedding that does not break the bank. Willing to spend a little extra for quality but have found NOTHING. I'm thinking of ordering farbric and having a douvet cover and shams made. Any ideas?

I'm not a big fan of pink, but the first bedroom has a shade of pink I could live with...if I ever had a room that color. It's very subtle and soft. Bedrooms # 2 and 7 are more my style.
