All white can sometimes get a little boring, but when almost every room has a view of the Amalfi Coast, it's less of a problem. Casa Angelina is a hotel in the Italian town of Praiano. Situated on a cliff overlooking the sea, the hotel's interiors are simple and austere in comparison to the incredible views. Within its rooms, we also found a few space saving solutions...
The hotel bedrooms are relatively small, and many of them open up onto terraces with views of the ocean. Space is maximized by keeping everything light and bright. Headboard reading lights free up space next to the bed, alcoves are transformed into mini office areas, and textures such as herringbone floors and striped headboards keep things from seeming overly simple.

Although I'm not an all-white person, at least not for my home, I tend to like it everywhere else. However, (for me) this is just too much.
It reminds me of my mum always using white napkins because of the convenience of bleaching them instead of having to fight with every stain. It looks like it was just cheaper and easier this way.

PS I realize how harsh that may sound, but I didn't mean to, really.

I really like all-white rooms when they use different shades of white. This blinding white color is just too...blinding.
I think I could put up with it though for those views. ;)

I agree, these rooms do seem a little TOO white in the photos. Though I have been to the Amalfi Coast and I think that if you were there standing in the room you would feel different. The ocean and landscape are so vibrant there it's nice to have a simple room so that you can take in the gorgeous view.

I've stayed at this hotel, and the all-white interiors seem much less stark when you're there because the sea and sky outside are such a blindingly beautiful misty blue with pinks, corals, and greens at sunset. The natural beauty there is so mindblowing, I actually appreciated how understimulating the rooms were inside. I would have hated any attempt to replicate the natural setting in the rooms, and any heavy wood or sparkly glass would have seemed odd. That said, the hotel did put bright flowers and fruit in my room everyday, and I loved it.
