CHI Good Questions: Info on this Sleigh Bed?

2008-03-12-sleigh.jpgAdela is looking for a furniture ID: While casually surfing the FLOR website today I came across my dream bed in their Inspiration Gallery; a sleigh bed which is both traditional and modern. It's perfect except I can't find any information on it. Before I assail FLOR for more information, has anyone ever seen this bed before?

I would say try Bombay, but they went out of business in the US. However, they do have stores in Canada!

The photo was taken at a furniture store in Dallas called Urban Home. It's closed now, but the bed you are interested in is from a company once named Eclexion and now is called Enviroment Furniture. Google 'em. I don't remember the name, but it was made out of a wood from Indonesia call Agathis wood. Beautiful bed, HEAVY, but solid as a rock. If I can remember the name I will add another post.

Can anyone identify that wall treatment?

Thanks to EDavid's keywords, here's the bed:
http://eclexionfurniture.com/catalog/Browse-By-Room/Bedroom/Beds/Ribak-Bed-No-Footboard/

The one in the above link doesn't have the footboard.

There is also the Cintamani, a rougher look, not as polished.

Oh, and, here is their newer site using the new name:
http://www.environment-furniture.com/products.asp

I do not see the Ribak bed there.

Yes it's solid, I've got one, great design and comfortable especially if you're tall. It weighs a ton but looks great.
