I'd definitely be afraid to come down that ladder in the mornings.

I would LOVE that loft area, but definitely not for my fiance the mild claustrophobe :-p

I normally hate knotty pine, but in the second pic, it looks beautiful.

I'm not sure sure how much I would want to live in that space, but those images are awesome...

reminds me of the room in the barn from The Ring- really cool, but not sure I'd feel comfortable up there.

how do you change the sheets on that first bed? seems like an emergency room visit waiting to happen.

i like the idea of a closed off bedroom, thats JUST for sleeping. BUT i dont like to have to maneuver out of it and climb down said latter. scary to think how dazed i am in morning.. not a permanent solution for me but interesting idea. if you combine this with the bookcase door thing you could have it as a spare bedroom for guest. the second picture.. a few floating shelves or a place underneath for clothes or etc.. and it would be an ideal second bedroom, or only br if you are trying for the whole extreme minimalism

overall i like the clean bright feel


i think i might try to convince my friend who has SEVERLY high ceilings to put a spare bed in her hallway, you would never notice it up there and then she could keep her office as just an office.

Ha. I saw Bunker Hill and thought "who knew Boston could be so cool?"

I'd definitely have issues sleeping in that bed - and white is such a pain to keep clean.
