Lisa Bengtsson is a graphic designer based in Stockholm. Her work is colorful (except when it's purely black & white) and irreverant (except when it's purely pretty) and absolutely would be a conversation starter in any home...

Shown above, left to right:

1) Ros-Marie 2
2) Lady of Easy Virtue #4
3) Siri
4) La Vie en Red Rose
5) News!

Her work is produced as wallpaper by "Your Wallpaper". More info (not in English, sorry!) can be found here and Lisa's site (in English) is right here.

Wow, those are very in-your-face. Not my style, but some have cool imagery. I like the middle one.

I love it! I dream of a day I have my own home so I can put huge graphics on one wall like that.

Cute! But it's going to look incredibly dated very fast, I fear. Not her concern, but it definitely is mine.

Good God wallpaper is coming back in way too many bad ways.

I like (most) of them, but I'm getting a nagging visual of the bad wallpaper mural from the 70s in my friend's basement.

Cute, but not something I could live with for long.

Lady of Easy Virtue looks stunning. I would frame her as a piece of art! Beautiful!

You would need a seriously eclectic sense of style to handle this bold look. If applied in the right setting, they would be gorg! There is also a great "green" wallpaper line by WALLTAT that has both temporary and permanent install options. I hated removing the wallpaper in my place, UG! Gotta love wallpaper... without the paste!
