Best Products: Restoration Hardware's Cotton Blankets

2-22-08blanket1.jpg

We have a cotton blanket from Restoration Hardware that we use year-round. It's the perfect weight for a summer bedspread, and in the winter it adds just the right amount of warmth under our quilt. These are on clearance sale right now...

Last year's Classic Cotton Blanket was $89 - $99 and it's been reduced to $24.99 - $22.99. One tip: wash the blanket a couple of times before using it to prevent initial shedding. Ours shed a little at first, but was fine after a couple of runs through the washing machine.

They've also come out with a new set of colors. (It looks like they're discontinuing some of the pastels). These new Classic Cotton Blankets are full price, $99 - $149. Both blankets are 100 percent cotton, machine washable, and available in King and Queen sizes. Twin sizes are only available in the new, full-price blanket.

Sorry! It must have sold out in between the time I wrote the post and the time it went up. But they have a great Restoration Hardware outlet at Pleasant Prairie if you're willing to drive an hour or so. That's where I bought mine, and I think it was more than half off retail price. They might not have the old ones, but you never know. The have a lot of RH bedding there.
