CL offers entryway design ideas in four different styles: classic, bold, beachy, and elegant. They opt for a Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams sofette in crisp white upholstery for the "classic" look (pg.15). Five CL staffers makeover five secondhand chairs. A stuffy Louis XV gets a youthful update with large print, black and white damask fabric and Tiffany-blue paint (pg.22). There's also an easy guide on how to plant low-maintenance and attractive succulents (pg.62).

Chicago's Bungalow Belt was selected as one of the Top Ten Cottage Communities of 2007 (pg.68)! The write-up mentions how the Historic Chicago Bungalow Association helps homeowners restore and maintain their classic homes. Other Midwestern spots that made the list: Cleveland, OH; Boulder, CO; and Lake Elmo, MN.

I absolutely ADORE Cottage Living magazine. I love it even more than Dwell and that's saying a lot, lol.
