An excellent small space solution - get your collection off of the surfaces of your room (or out of storage!) and onto the walls. Implementing the display of a collection on a wall is shown off beautifully in multiple examples (plates, photos,everyday treasures, letters) from one of our favorite design publications, Living Etc.
A very high shelf shows off photos but leaves plenty of open wall space to keep things visually in balance.
Everyday treasures have pride of place in a complex, careful, old-fashioned gallery-style arrangement.
The scale of the arrangement on the wall and varied sizes and fonts are what makes this collection's arrangement successful.
