Petit Pattern Books

2007-03-20-pattern.jpgBest find in NYC: Petit Pattern Books. Last weekend, on our visit to NY, we spent way too long in the amazing Kinokuniya Bookstore. When we lived in SF and LA, we made regular trips to both of the west coast outposts of the store - we need a Chicago branch!
We were thrilled to find these fantastic design resource books, each includes 140 patterns in full color (the color choices are really fabulous) and here's the best part - they are also on cd in eps and jpg formats for use on all your projects.

We grabbed all three collections in stock: Scandanavian style, Japanese style and Dots and Stripes.

At $39.20 each, these added up quickly, but we know that we will be using these long term for a myriad of diy projects...now we just need to find some time to start one!

Available at Kinokuniya, 212.765.7766.

Would you happen to have direct links to the titles? I'm having difficulty actually finding these books through their search engine.

jon-
i couldn't set up direct links easily, but you can access them by searching in "japanese books" by the isbn numbers (just don't include the dashes).

here they are:
japanese style 4-86100-390-3
scandanavian style 4-86100-386-5
dots and stripes 4-86100-384-9

good luck!
