...has a bit of a twist: it is also a journal. According to the Chronicle site, Readers can record their successes, as they de-clutter their homes and in the process, their minds. We think taking time for reflection, to gather your thoughts and then write them down, is an important part of making changes; so the journal aspect is intriguing.
We're interested to check it out further and will keep an eye out on our next trip to Borders, if only for a closer look beautifully colored illustrations by Andrea Cobb.
Has anyone seen the book in person yet? Let us know and give us a short review....

The book looks really pretty, but isn't it counterproductive to buy a book when you are trying to live with less and declutter? Maybe the library has a copy.

Thoughtful point, Petworth... perhaps we must agree to purge ten books if we opt to buy this new one. I, however, have a harder time letting go of books than almost anything else...

I'm wary of being told "Buy more stuff so that you can organize your stuff!"

I kind of agree with petworth and alexarc. That's the reason I eventually cancelled my Real Simple subscription, actually. I decided that wading through pages and pages of organizational tips and advertising designed to get me to buy more stuff wasn't really helping to simplify my life.
That said, it's a pretty book! I love the cover. It would make a nice gift if you konw the recipient wouldn't be offended to get it.
